Providing an early childhood education that is child centered, nature-connected and intentional.
What is Outdoor-First Learning?
At Kindred Hollow, the outdoors is our primary classroom. Through an Outdoor-First Learning approach, children spend majority of their time immersed in nature, exploring, playing, and learning through meaningful, hands on experiences.
Rather than separating learning from the natural world, we invite children to engage in it fully. Sticks become tools for problem solving, muddy boots spark curiosity and changing seasons offer endless opportunities for discovery. Guided by caring educators, children follow their interests, build confidence, and develop resilience through child led play and thoughtful risk-taking.
Why do parents choose Kindred Hollow?
